| Taryn Thomas
was born in New Jersey, and moved to the Phoenix, Arizona when she was 12. Upon turning 18 and thus being of legal age to work as an adult performer, Thomas worked for Lightspeed Media Corporation doing internet photo shoots and softcore pornography, a total of about 20 appearances. In the late months of 2004, Thomas came to Southern California and made the decision to perform in hardcore pornography as a career choice. Her first adult DVD since arriving in California was titled 12 on 1 #2 by Lethal Hardcore and included Thomas performing with Penny Flame, Sandra Romain and Melissa Lauren.
She was nominated for the AVN Award for Best New Starlet Award in 2006, and won the Dirtiest Girl in Porn Award presented by the Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment (F.A.M.E.) in June 2006. Thomas has appeared on the Howard Stern Show and participated in the Pornstar Beauty Pageant, competing against Taylor Wane and Carmen Luvana on June 15, 2006.
After suffering business related injury, Thomas took her departure from the adult film industry to study cosmetology. In addition to her cosmetology studies, Thomas has also attended real estate school and has a pharmacy technician's license. However, in May 2007 she announced her return to the adult film industry. Since then she has starred in several different films.
Recently Thomas has launched a comeback, and is documenting it in her own personal blog.
She posts various pictures of her weight loss and updates on her life. She is currently at her "goal weight" and starting to shoot new content. Co-founded by Thomas and her fiance, the production company Taryn It Up Entertainment released its first film in October 2009. Her latest work is starring as "Snooki" in the new Jersey Shore XXX movie, set to be released in 2010.
