St. Patricks Day Parades on Saturday, March 5, 2011

Hoboken

  • Parade steps off at 1 p.m. beginning at Washington and 14th Streets. Line-up is at Noon

Nutley

  • Parade events begin at 10:00 AM with an Irish Memorial Mass at St. Mary's Church, Nutley, NJ. The parade steps off at 1:00 PM. The route is from Holy Family Church down Harrison Street to Franklin Avenue, ending at Chestnut Street. Join in afterwards for the post parade party to be held at the Knights of Columbus on Chestnut Street.

Belmar/Lake Como

  • Parade starts at 12:30 PM, from the Belmar Marina Park in Marina. Parade on Main St.Parade is held rain, shine, snow, sleet etc.

Morristown

  • Parade day begins with Mass at 10:00am at the Church of the Assumption, off Maple Avenue in Morristown. The parade will start at 12:00 Noon at the corner of South Street and James Street. The parade route is South Street to Atno Avenue. There will be about 20 bands with about 50,000 in attendance either in the parade or as spectators.

Seaside Heights

  • Parade begins at 12 noon on the Boulevard and goes 1- 1/4 miles long starting at the Seaside Park border and ending at Sampson Avenue. The rain date scheduled for the next day.

Trenton/Hamilton

  • The 26th annual Trenton St Patrick's Day Parade@ Hamilton, will kick off the Parade on March 12, 2011 with an open ceremony at Sayen Gardens @ 12:30 pm. At 1:00 pm the Parade will start from Sayen Garden, proceed down Mercer St., making a right on to Nottingham Way and continue to Shady Lane.

Union County

  • 1:00 PM - The Parade begins in Union with the Marching units gathering at Morris Avenue and along Commerce and Jeanette Avenues, the parade route proceeds east along Morris Avenue to a turn at the Main Reviewing Stand and ends at Roosevelt Avenue. The Midway Reviewing Standis at Morris and Caldwell Avenues.

Atlantic City

  • The parade begins at 1 p.m. on the Boardwalk at New Jersey Avenue. It will include pipe bands, string bands, marching bands and floats. Contact Mike Riordan at 290-7723

North Wildwood

  • Parade starts at 11:30 AM on Atlantic Avenue starts in front of city hall to 2nd Avenues, North Wildwood. 609-522-2955

South Amboy

  • Parade starts at 2 pm -Parade will beigin at Christ Church Cemetry, go alng Stevens Ave, then along Main St., down Briodway and ending at Henry St.

Bergen County

  • 2:00 pm. The line of march starts north of the National Guard Armory in Teaneck, New Jersey, and continues north up Washington Avenue to Main Street in Bergenfield.

Hackettstown

  • 3:30 pm. The parade will line up on the corner of Valentine Street & Grand Avenue and march down Grand Avenue and then onto Main Street, ending at Warren Street behind David's Country Inn. Dinner at Marleys Tavern Right After

Somerville

  • Parade begins at 1:30 pm, at the corner of Main and Grove Streets in downtown Somerville and will proceed west to West End Avenue near Immaculate Conception Church. A pre-parade show is typically held weather permitting at 1:00 P.M. and will feature Irish Dancing exhibitions, and will be located in front of the Review Stand at the corner of Main Street and Doughty Avenue.
    West Orange, NJ - The parade will begin at 12:15pm at the corner of Main Street and Mount Pleasant Avenue, by Town Hall and will end at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at the intersection of Eagle Rock Ave, Main St., and Harrison Ave. The Grand Stand will be in the CVS parking lot across from the Community House.

Woodbridge

  • The parade begins at 1:30 pm at Woodbridge High School, Route 35 and ends at Woodbridge Town Hall, Main St.


St. Patricks Day Parades on Friday, March 18, 2011

Newark

  • The Parade will begin promptly at 1:00 pm, starting from the New Prudential Center on Mulberry Street and proceed north on Mulberry Street, past the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on Center Street, and conclude at Washington Park. There will be Reviewing Stands located at Mulberry and Clinton Streets as well as Central Avenue and Washington Street.

Sussex County / Newton

  • Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:30 am Spring Street, Newton, New Jersey

Robbinsville

  • The opening ceremonies begin at noon at the Foxmoor Shopping Center which is at the corner of Route 33 and Washington Boulevard. The parade will begin at 1:00pm and work its way through the town center and end at the parking lot behind the businesses on Routes 33 and 526.

Ringwood

  • Parade starts at 12 pm at The Ringwood Plaza, goes down Skyline Drive then up to 112 Erskine Road to the St. Catherine’s Parish Center for the Family Celebration 2:00pm.
