The Technicians formed back in the 80's when a few friends, who loved playing music, decided that they would love playing music together. Since then, they have played at numerous locations throughout New Jersey, up until early 2000. The Technicians have been on hiatus the last few years with no immediate plans for a come back. The Technicians' aim was mainly to have a good time and share their love for music with others. They did play their own stuff but also concentrated on covering songs from their time that they could play at local bars and clubs. |

Mike (redd5) is on vocals/rhythm guitar, Phil (ver7igo) is on lead guitar, Chet (chetlufet) is on bass, and Brian (brijo) is on drums. |

DEEP IN THE HEART OF JERSEY: Theres something kinda funny about a rockabilly band with a Hank Williams-style warbler singing a traditional, 50s-style train song about NJ Transit. But thats what Tweed Schade & the Sugardaddies did on their 2003 album, "Try" a little ditty called "Raritan Line" that has to be heard.

After writing a few songs and multiple auditions for a singer, Scotty B took the Vocal spot. After many auditions with may different people, Clarke was taken on board to handle the keys, samples, and all the other amazing sounds that have made the band as unique as it is today. |
