1.15.2011 - Carmelo, "New York is My Ultimate Dream" ... Not Good for Nets
From ESPN - Carmelo Anthony's "ultimate dream" would be to play in New York, the Denver Nuggets forward said Friday in an interview with ESPN's Colleen Dominguez. Anthony and his wife, LaLa Vazquez, are from the area.
"That's like the ultimate dream at the end of the day," Anthony said. "Who wouldn't want to go back home to play?"

ESPN is reporting that the Nets have pulled out of talks to acquire NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony from the Denver Nuggets. This come as no big surprise, as Carmelo has secretly made it clear he only want to play for the New York Knicks or Chicago Bulls. In this new era of the NBA, the top superstars are gonna play where they want to play.... period.

Despite winding down the 2009-10 NBA season with the 2nd worst record ever, our lovable losers, could catch at break in tonight's NBA Draft Lottery. Despite having the best odds of winning the lottery and landing defacto #1 pick John Wall, we ended up getting the 3rd overall pick. Our buddies the 76ers landed the #2 pick and Washington ended up getting the #1 overall pick. Despite the bad luck, we will still land a major future NBA pick and our new ownership plans on being active is this summers crazy NBA free agent free for all.
