- Time had come where those of us at NJMAX.com needed to establish a date that we will officially launch for real. October 1st, 2007 will be that landmark date. As we have for the last three weeks, we will be building the site live over the next month, so you our user will be able to watch as we build out. There will be some stuff that we save until the official launch, we'll start teasing what is coming as we start the countdown to October 1st!

Monday 8.27.2007 - Bruce Springsteen Announces Fall Tour With New Album
- Bruce will be hitting the road this fall. The original set of dates includes 5 in the New Jersey Area - 2 @ Continental, 2 @ MSG & 1 @ Wachovia. The new CD "MAGIC" hits store October 2nd.

- Starting Monday, NJMAX.com will make sure that home-news, calendars, music and movies will be update daily. While we are still not in live launch we want you stop by on a daily basis for the latest on our Garden State and what going on. In terms of news, we don't plan on getting too serious, we promise to stay out of politics and religion and only profile what we think is interesting or too funny to be missed. We are tentatively planning a full launch for late September - but come by anytime, we are open.

Friday August 24, 2007 - Well NJ here we are and NJMAX.com is finally launching - we are in week two of the pre-launch phase! It has been a while since the original idea to create a site that will bring together all the things that make New Jersey great and fun and crazy all at the same time. Obviously if you stop by @ this moment in time, you will see just the shell of the new look. There is a ton of content coming and coming quick. This is the new look [first look for most people - as the old version never got a launch]. We have finalized main navigation and the advertising layout and think it will be a nice balance of content with useful advertising - the necessary evil for any website. Unlike many site that launch finished, we are building out live. It help by letting the public and our fans see what it takes to build a site like this and starts to build Google and Yahoo links [which help drive traffic] and demos the site for potential advertisers and partner affiliates - and quite frankly the site is going to be so large and diverse it will never be complete done! So here we go ready or not!

Tuesday was busy behind the scenes - working with future advertisers and continuing to build the backbone of the site and getting a little sleep. Not a lot new to look at today, but we are busy - trust that!
Update 2007-08-20
We have been busy today starting to put together some relationships with larger advertisers and also showing independent restaurant, bars and clubs what we will do for you for FREE! The link below to the Green Knoll Grille in Bridgewater is a prime example. If you click onto the link it will take you to a page made just for them with info and a map and a link to their website and MySpace page - ALL FOR FREE! All we ask, if you can, is link us on your site or "when we are ready" - let your MySpace friends or mailing list know about NJMAX.com. Down the road we ask for something for priority ads, but only once we clearly establish our market presence and have proven our marketing viability. We also clearly build site and do full service graphic design, so if you need that kind of work as well, we'd love to work with you!

- Rap & Hip-Hop Page - Got a request from a great New Jersey artist, so the page is built - that's the way we roll here at NJMAX...

Sunday was mostly an off day here at NJMAX. Only a couple of new pages and neither is close to finished, but as ICONS of New Jersey they needed to be in.

Ok we are busy today getting a lot of the grunt work done today. If this site is to be useful to you we need the information and we are compiling information from a lot of sources on the Internet. Once we get all the info in we will confirm that it is up to date and start adding additional information

Not a lot new on the 17th, we were working late into the morning on the 16th and then went to the newly alcohol free [Thanks you 2 dead fuck-ups @ OzzFest!] PNC parking lot to see Velvet Revolver - Alice In Chains show - awesome by the way.
